MDG in the news ...

The July edition of The Scene features an article about the makedeepinggreen campaign and gives you loads of useful facts on how retailers and consumers within the Deepings can make a huge difference to our environment by making some very small changes to the way we live and shop - look out for it hitting your doormat on Friday 4th July.

Also included in the article will be a cut out voucher which will entitle you to one of our first edition makedeepinggreen reusable cotton bags. We have limited numbers at the moment, so avoid dissapointment by coming down to our stand at the Deepings Carnival on Saturday 5th July with your completed voucher and we'll swap it for a fantastic MDG reusable cotton bag.

If you don't receive your copy of The Scene in time, please print this voucher off and bring it with you.

Please note that bags are limited to one per household at the moment, but we are looking for 2 or 3 retailers within the Deepings who will stock them for us in the near future - please contact us today if you can help.

We braved the elements on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th June and took our message to The Deeping Show, an annual aggricultural event visited by 1000's of people from around the country. We had our picture board, showing the damage done by plastic bags in the countryside and we also had information leaflets (printed on recycled card of course) to hand out to passers by. Many thanks to John, Elli & Rob who gave up their weekends to spread the message.
